I am feeling better with each new day. Yesterday was our annual Christmas party at work. Although I wasn't able to make it in person, I was there in spirit. I really miss by buddies from work...
I am looking forward to this weekend. My parents are coming down. I haven't seen them since chemo started, so I am thrilled that they will be here. Aunt Mair and Aunt Kathy are also planning on coming over on Saturday. They are going to help me clean the house! (Yikes!) I haven't seen either of them in a long time. MaryAnn and Gary from work said that they would come by on Sunday. I can't wait to see everyone! Thank God for the good days as that is what I look forward to after each treatment.Monday it is back to the city for round 3. Debbie is once again going to be a brave soul and venture in with me!! Thank God for her...
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the season... Bring on the SNOW!!!

Hi Kay
Glad to hear you are feeling better and that you have family coming over for the weekend... It will be great to see some familiar faces I'm sure... Stacy said she will make a big pot of her famous chili for Dan and the crew and have Maryann bring it up on Sunday... Well, got to run, take care...

A young man was walking down the street when he noticed his grandpa sitting on the porch, in the rocking chair, with nothing on from the waist down.
"Grandpa, what are you doing?" he exclaimed.
The old man looked off in the distance and did not answer him.
"Grandpa, what are you doing sitting out here with nothing on below the waist?" he asked again.
The old man slyly looked at him and said, "Well, last week I sat out here with no shirt on, and I got a stiff neck. This was your Grandma's idea!"
Hi Kay! Good to hear you are feeling better. You were greatly missed at the Christmas party yesterday! It was a fun first time for me though. Enjoy your weekend with family and friends. I'll pray for an easy Monday for you!!! Talk to you soon!

Hi Kay,
I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better & having company this weekend. I thought of you last night, how about those Rangers? Great game. I missed seing you at work and talking about it. After the game we went to see the Rockefeller Center tree, as I looked up at the star I said a silent prayer for you, that God grants you the strength to battle through your chemo treatments with the least amount of suffering. Keep your spirits up, you have so many people keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. Have a wonderful weekend!
Love, Karen

Hi Kay,
How'd you like that SNOW?!! It was only a dusting here but it came down so peacefully & looked so pretty. Best of luck tomorrow with your treatment number 3, you'll be in my prayers. Be strong, you'll be halfway there after tomorrows round.

A Southwest Airlines captain was helping a new blonde flight attendant prepare for her first overnight trip.
Upon their arrival, the captain showed the flight attendant the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop and stay overnight.
The next morning as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day's route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up to ask what happened to her.
She answered the phone, crying, and said, "I can't get out of the room!"
"You can't get out of your room?" the captain asked. "Why not?"
She replied, "There are only three doors in here," she sobbed, "one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says 'Do Not Disturb'!"
