Radiation
Today was my first day of radiation. What a pleasant surprise.... no needles, no noises and just a few short minutes. It is hard to believe that for the first time, it was painless. I know that it won't always be like this, but I am thankful for whatever I get. I will be going every day Monday-Friday for 6 weeks....The doctor says I will skate by the first couple weeks but than will get what looks like a burn and fatigue. Doesn't sound to bad. Hopefully I am right..I will let you know.

Kay, Your putlook is great...it must seem a little like going to work with the Monday through Friday thing. Well it's been quite a job and I'm glad that for now you have a little bit of a break. If your past treatments are any indication you will do great...I've always said you were ahead of the curve when it came to getting through every course...even the surgery I know it was hard but you made it. It was inspiring the way you dug in and recovered so beautifully. I love you...keep the good vibes flowing :) Mair

Glad to hear your first visti went well. I know one of our customers who comes in all the time and she is a few weeks ahead of you in her treatment. She was at the burning stage but still felt well and looked well.Also we have a co worker who just finished radiation and is now in remission. All of you have the same great attitude in common. Sounds like you are moving along very nicely... The girls at work usually fill me in on your progress and I'm very happy to hear how well you are doing...
Before you know it, this will only be a memory and put behind you...

Good to hear all is moving along well. I agree with what some others have said, your outlook is amazing! For the short time I've known you it is so apparent how strong you are. Keep up the positive energy! Anne is right, we all miss you! Can't wait to see you soon!
